Psych TLC offers telephone consultation and tele-psychiatric evaluations to provide psychopharmacologic and/or diagnostic consultation to primary care physicians caring for children, adolescents and families experiencing emotional and behavioral disorders resulting in functional impairment. A child and adolescent psychiatrist is available via telephone to provide free consultation to physicians such as pediatricians, family practice physicians, and general psychiatrists. Furthermore, the Psych TLC program also provides training and continuing medical education units in child and adolescent mental health diagnosis, management, and services for primary care and other physicians. Regional roundtables and interactive video teleconferences are available to provide education on evidence-based treatment guidelines.
